This is the last and final 50th state GG went to. We stayed at a rustic bed and breakfast near Mount Hood. The owner was a former photographer for National Geographic.
We stopped and picked Bing cherries from a farm.
Had I known about the scenic railroad we would have taken it.

Technical problems with Direct TV
so I watched some old DVD's on trains
Now that Direct TV has been fixed it is back to modern times. But, you can see how much fun it was before TV.

Run mice run
I wondered why I had not seen any little critters lately.
We called security and they checked him (or her) out and confirmed this was a good one to have and was not dangerous.
If you are brave you can click on the picture for a close up.

Reinhardt Football
Yesterday I found out that the reserved season seats are already sold out for the Reinhardt football inaugural season. So, I got online and bought general admission tickets for Suzanne and I for their inaugural home game to be played September 7, 2013.
Later in the day we went and checked out the field. As you can see the field is used for both soccer and football.
These footballs look like they have already gone through a season.

What you can look forward to
When you are in your seventies you spend a lot of time in exotic places like these.
So, don't waste your time rushing to get there. Enjoy today because today is gone forever tomorrow.
