We tried to pull it out today and failed. The winds were too strong  from the West that pushed it in there.

Notice how green the water is from the storm.

Stormy day

A tornado hit Adairsville today and shortly after we got terrific winds that only lasted a few minutes. The rain was so hard at the time none of my plastic covering the trains was disturbed. I expected them to be blown away.

Our pool cover was empty this morning. 

Someone's boat was broken free in the lake.

Our small stream came alive with a roar.

And our floating dock rose to a level where it was equal to the landing. My guess is the lake rose six inches today.

Ahoy Mate

Seems to be a little bit foggy out there this morning.

Even the birds can not find each other.

Texas Tech Blood

TEXAS TECH is in my Blood.

Nice Sunday afternoon and time to take in a Texas Tech women's basketball game. I always follow the men's football games and the women's basketball games.

I have been to the United Spirit Arena to see both women and men's basketball games.

Today we beat TCU 53-42 to improve our record to 16-4.

Dominoes Olympics

Gold:       United States
Silver:     Venezuela
Bronze:   Australia

International doping scandal on Dominoes exists as I scored a 234 for third place today and an hour later when I checked the scores my name was not listed. Therefore, I have decided to find an internet game on marbles. Have decided to play it so one day everyone can say Kim has finally lost his marbles.

I managed to beat the United Kingdom by seven points (268 to 261) for the current 24 hour period. The 268 points was my fifth highest score with 308 being the highest.

Let's see if I can do it tomorrow.

Birthday over

How the days fly by. It was such a fleeting moment in time. Now to finish something that I started.

My next mission: To be number one in internet dominoes again. What a life.

Rise above

I got my inspiration to rise above from the fiscal cliff. Will work from the bottom to the top.

See how exciting retirement can be. No pressure to succeed. Just pedal along at a slow pace.

Date night

After four days of shut in with rain cabin fever set in. Suzanne said take me anywhere!

So, I did

I took her to a basketball game at Reinhardt University.

With plenty of action and no windows to see the rain.

But, we lost the game.

Pool stress

Solid three days of rain has put stress on the pool cover. Forecast is for more rain the next two days.

I just went out (in the rain) to start to siphon the water off of the cover.

Nothing to do now but take my mind off of it and start my winter puzzle.
