Friday night football in Naples FL

We attended the game against Naples High ( a powerhouse ) and while we lost 42-3 we got to see the halftime show which is what we went for.

P.S.  We left after the halftime show when the score was only 21-3.

Trip to Naples: Football and Band

We flew to Naples FL on October 15 and returned on October 20 2014.

The first event we attended was Mason's football game.

If you can not tell Mason is number 81. We just followed his socks to keep up with him.

Father and son after getting and receiving advice.

Darn it. I itch right here.

What is Mason saying? What is dad saying?

Reinhardt University soccer

Suzanne and I attended the opening soccer game today at Reinhardt University. The game was 1-0 at halftime with Reinhardt winning. They came out strong in the second half and scored 4 goals in ten minutes to lead 5-0. With 20 minutes we left to go to church. Checking the website the final score was 8-0.

Reinhardt Eagles Softball

The Reinhardt Eagles finished third in the nation this year in NAIA softball. They lost 7-6 in the semi finals in extra innings at the NAIA national tournament. Had they won they would have played the team that won the championship. It was a team that we beat 4-1 in the regular season.

This year a new Pizza restaurant opened in Waleska and as you can see they cater to the college crowd. We have eaten there and it is good pizza.

51 and still counting

Today we celebrate our wedding of 51 years. We have lit our wedding candle every year. Last year for our 50th anniversary our three children and six grandchildren took us on a six day cruise out of New Orleans. It was a wonderful celebration that we will remember forever.

Trip to Cloudcroft, NM

With Deborah's expert driving we rose to an elevation of over 8,000 feet above sea level to see Cloudcroft, NM which is near Alamagorda NM. As you can see the traffic was horrible compared to Atlanta.

More pictures on the way down.

Thanks Deborah, for all of the driving.
